CJP Tiranga Protest: Dipke And AISA Leader Neha Detained In Delhi Ahead Of Connaught Place March

CJP Tiranga protest organiser Abhijeet Dipke and All India Students Association President Neha Bora were detained by the Delhi Police on Friday as authorities intensified security across the national capital ahead of a proposed demonstration.

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder was pre-emptively detained outside his place of residence in Delhi while leaving to participate in the ‘Lehra Do Tiranga‘ march at Connaught Place. Simultaneously, AISA President Neha Bora and other student protesters were taken into custody near Mandi House circle while marching towards Connaught Place with the tricolour.

Security arrangements were heightened across New Delhi on October 16, 2026, following notices served by Delhi Police personnel to Mr. Dipke directing him to refrain from actions that could prejudice the rights of commuters, traders, patients, and citizens. The protest call was issued after CJP co-conveners Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were remanded to five days of judicial custody on Wednesday for allegedly trespassing at Jantar Mandar.
